Applies to:
Oracle BigMachines CPQ Cloud Service - Version 21 B Patch 8 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
When reconfiguring a quote, array type attributes of set type 'Set' and auto-lock enabled, which were set to a user specified value during the initial configuration, are getting changed by a recommendation rule.
Changes
An array type configuration attribute with set type 'set' and auto lock enabled is imported to and used as an action for recommendation and constraint rules that do not run due to imported attributes not being on the layout, causing the attribute's lock status to unlock and allow recommendation rules that are running to set its attribute based on the rule's settings.
