Symptoms

 When trying to open period JAN-21 for Intercompany Transaction Type A, no period is available to be selected.

Steps to replicate

1. go to Setup and Maintenance > query task Manage Intercompany Period Status
2. search for Transaction Type Name A
3. notice there is no period name available to select in order to open it
