Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

After Importing a project from Microsoft® Project, and editing the schedule of activities to an Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) calendar, and running scheduler, the sum of dates in the WBS is not equal to the same dates in one activity.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The WBS total of all days in the project to match exactly the total of days in one test activity.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. Access OPC
  2. Navigate to All Projects
  3. In Actions Select Import/Export Microsoft Project - NOTE must use integration process
  4. Once project is in OPC, adjust calendar to OPC calendar
  5. Review WBS lowest level first, add a new activity with the start and finish dates of the activity
    Ensure the Planned duration of the WBS Activity level is identical to the new activity at this level. If not, this is the issue.
