Symptoms

When a specific user attempts to perform various actions in P6 Professional, the following error occurs.

Event Code: AVAA0-1312-2
Description: Access violation at address 00000000034FE4B6 in module 'PM.EXE'. Read of address 0000000000000000

In addition, the Project tab does not display any projects when initially loaded; they display only after re-loading the default project layout.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will taking any of the following actions:

  1. Select Enterprise > Project from the menu.
  2. Select and open a project.
  3. Exit the application using the File > Exit menu option.
  4. Observe the reported error.
