Goal
22C - Absence Events Work Schedule Changes
Implemented the absence events to accommodate the recalculation of absence duration when work schedule is changed with an effective date before the absence start date.
Please find our findings below -
1. Employee was working on a work schedule from 5AM to 2:30 PM M-F.
2. We recorded a single day of absence from 5 AM to 2:30 PM for 9.5 hours.
3. The Work schedule was changed, that spans this absence, to 8 AM to 4 PM M-F.
4. I ran the scheduled process and absence duration was changed from 8 AM to 2:30 PM for 6.5 hours.
Ideally, it should have changed to 8AM to 4PM for 8 hours.
