Symptoms

Using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1.4.x, a mapping that is loading data from a fixed format TEXT source file to a Database table fails if any any of the values have diacritic characters (special and accented characters such as é, â, ç, ö, ň, etc. ).
