Error Descriptions Are Shown as 'UNKNOWN' When Promotion Template Upload Fails With an Error (Doc ID 2903100.1)

Symptoms

Error descriptions are shown as 'UNKNOWN' when promotion template upload fails with an error.

Steps to Recreate:

  1. Create a promotion template and fill it with appropriate data such that at least one error occurs.
  2. Upload the promotion template.
  3. Navigate to Review Status screen and notice that upload process failed with few errors.
  4. Select the record and click 'View Issues' button.
  5. Notice that 'UNKNOWN' is displayed under Error Description.
