Symptoms

Created a custom fast formula to get the start and end dates for absences run through payroll but PAY_DIR_COMP_MIN_START_DATE for absence start date DBI not returning the expected value.


The custom fast formula DBI found from KM Fusion Global Absence and Payroll: Troubleshooting Fusion Absence and Payroll Integration Issues (Doc ID 1930654.1)
Step 12 of this document states:

The absence start date and absence end date can only be accessed in formulas associated with absence elements via the status processing rule. The following DBIs can be used:
PAY_DIR_COMP_MIN_START_DATE for the absence start date
PAY_DIR_COMP_MAX_END_DATE for absence end date ACTUAL BEHAVIOR:
PAY_DIR_COMP_MIN_START_DATE returning the absence period end date.
