Symptoms

On : 11.13.22.07.0 version, Setup and Maintenance


User creates a Context in the Contract Header Flexfields and tries to assign a value set to that context however he is getting the below error while saving the context with value set assigned.


ERROR

The value set Contract Type cannot be assigned to this context segment. (FND-2607)
In application 510 and descriptive flexfield ContractHeaderFlexfield, the value set Contract Type cannot be assigned to the context segment. The assigned value set must have data type of Character and its maximum length must be no longer than the context column length.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a Context in the Contract Header Flexfields
2. Try to add a values set
3. Get an error
