Unable To Update Data By Loading Configuration Via Foundation Data Upload Induction Screen (Doc ID 2915556.1)

Symptoms

  1. Tasks->Foundation Data->Download Foundation Data
  2. Template Type->Administration
  3. Template -> Order Data Loading Configuration
  4. Click Download. Save file.
  5. Open file in OpenOffice or LibreOffice (Excel could modify the file so it cannot be uploaded)
  6. Modify a value (Example: Maximum PO for Download, change its value)
  7. Tasks->Foundation Data->Upload Foundation Data
  8. Template Type->Administration
  9. Template -> Order Data Loading Configuration
  10. Source File->Click Browse and select the file you downloaded and changed.
  11. Click Upload, wait for upload to finish.
  12. Note that the value you modified has not changed
    For this example, you can do this in the database or Apex with:
  13. Data Loading --> Review Status or Foundation Data --> Review Status
  14. See no updates regarding your file upload.
