RDS RESTful Data Services Connection Timed Out (Doc ID 2917461.1)

Last updated on JUNE 04, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Data Storage Cloud Service - Version 22.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

On: MFCS 22.1, RDS 22.1.301.0 version

The users have deployed several RESTful Data Services inside RDS in the workspace MFCS_RDS_CUSTOM with a custom Injector configured in RIB-EXT, and the injector calls these REST services.

There are multiple times a day timeout messages in our invocation to the REST services.

Here is an example:
org.springframework.web.client.ResourceAccessException: I/O error on POST request for "HTTPS://<HOSTNAME_VALUE>/rtc726grfprjmj6xatk0/ords/mfcs/internal/subinjector/consumemessage":
Connect to <HOSTNAME_VALUE>:443 [<HOSTNAME_VALUE>/<IP_ADDRESS_VALUE>] failed:

Is there a limitation or a configuration that can be done in RDS to increase the number of allowed invocations to the REST services?
