Last updated on FEBRUARY 11, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Global Human Resources Cloud Service - Version 11.13.22.07.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

A new DFF is created with Checkbox as Data type with Value Set as Yes or No (HRC_YES_NO). Now set this as required option on the DFF and deploy it, however the asterisk(*) symbol does not appear during creation of transaction.

Example: Setup and Maintenance > Manage Descriptive Flexfields > Open any Descriptive Flex field > Create a context like 'Declaration' with Datatype as checkbox and Value set as HRC_YES_NO > Checkbox on 'Required' field > Save and Close. Deploy the flexfield.
