Goal

 Effective 3 January 2023, the following updates have been introduced for Qatari employees:

1. A maximum social insurance contributory salary of 100,000 QAR has been introduced.
As an exception, employees whose monthly contributory salary exceed 100,000 QAR before April 19th 2022, can continue to pay contributions according to their actual salary, if they choose to.
However their contributory salary must be fixed at the above mentioned date and cannot increase in the future.

2. Housing Allowance, up to 6,000 QAR, will be considered for the Social Insurance (SI) contributory salary
