Max Qty Decimal Precision on Companies Screen Decimal Settings How Does It Work? (Doc ID 2923480.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 19, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Warehouse Management Enterprise Edition Cloud Service - Version 22.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Decimals are displayed in "Allocated qty in Cases" field - Allocation screen - even if the Max Qty Decimal Precision was set to 0.

This document is using some abbreviations:

  • qty for quantity
  • Std for Standard

On the Allocation screen, the amounts in Pack Qty and Case Qty are bringing the decimals with many places.

If the quantity is less than the Std Case/ Std Pack qty, the expected value should be = 0.

If the quantity was greater than the Std Case/ Std Pack qty, the expected value should be an integer number.

Scenario:
Item 003
std case qty = 30

An allocation wave was generated for this item with the quantity higher than the std case registered.

For example if Allocated qty =31, Allocated Qty in Cases should have the value = 1.

The current scenario is bringing many decimal places and Allocated Qty in Cases = 1.033333333333333333333333333333333333 cases.
