Error When Accounting For Lease Revision Transaction: Subledger Accounting Was Unable To Retrieve A Value For The Accounting Flexfield Account Rule. (Doc ID 2923603.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to generate accounting for the Lease Accounting module, the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
Subledger Accounting was unable to retrieve a value for the accounting flexfield account rule.
Cause: GL account can't be derived by account rule.
Action: Review the account rule definition and the extract source values, if applicable, for the event and make sure a valid GL account can be derived for the subledger journal entry.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. run Create Accounting for Lease Accounting application
2. check Create Accounting Execution Report
3. see that certain events have this error and that the accounts could not be generated for them.
