Fusion PIM: Use Item Rule to Enforce Multi-Row EFF Attributes Required When No Row Exists or Empty (Doc ID 2926344.1)

Last updated on MAY 01, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Product Hub Cloud Service - Version 11.13.22.07.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

This document describes how to enforce the user to enter the value for required Multi-Row EFF attributes when there is no row that exists before creating or updating an Item using the Item Rule.

Currently, even if you setup Multi-Row EFF attributes as a required field unless a row is created for Multi-Row EFF attributes it allows the user to create or update an Item.

For example in the below screenshot, Attribute Group JG_MR_AG is defined as a multirow EFF attribute with Lenght as required however the user can still create or update the Item unless a row is created for the Muti-Row EFF attributes.

Here Length is defined as a Required and a Unique Key. Use this Unique Key in the Item Rule validation.
