Cannot Setup the VRM_PERF_OBLIGATIONS Descriptive Flexfield Segments Using Bind Variable: The bind variable :{PARAMETER.DocIdInt1} is not valid. (FND-2580) (Doc ID 2927309.1)

Symptoms

While setting up a new segment for VRM_PERF_OBLIGATIONS Descriptive Flexfield (DFF) using as bind variable :{PARAMETER.DocIdInt1}, the following error is returned:


ERROR
-----------------------
The bind variable :{PARAMETER.DocIdInt1} is not valid. (FND-2580)
In application 10,455, descriptive flexfield VRM_PERF_OBLIGATIONS, context <Context_code>, and segment <Segment_Name>, the bind variable :{PARAMETER.DocIdInt1} in SQL default value SELECT SRC_ATTRIBUTE_CHAR46 FROM VRM_SOURCE_DOCUMENTS WHERE DOC_ID_INT_1 = :{PARAMETER.DocIdInt1} is not valid.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Setup and Maintenance > Financials > Revenue Management > Manage Revenue Management Descriptive Flexfield > VRM Performance Obligation flexfield (Code VRM_PERF_OBLIGATIONS)
2. Flexfield Context : Select the context value
Table Column : ATTRIBUTE3
3.The default value text box in the Target field is populated with the SQL as below

SELECT SRC_ATTRIBUTE_CHAR46 FROM VRM_SOURCE_DOCUMENTS WHERE DOC_ID_INT_1 = :{PARAMETER.DocIdInt1}
