Symptoms
Batch BATCH_COMPEFFUPD_JOB is aborting with error:
PACKAGE_ERROR@1ORA-01407: cannot update ("RMS01"."DEPT_CHRG_DETAIL"."COMP_CURR ENCY") to NULL@2COST_COMP_UPD_SQL.UPDATE_RATES_EFFECTIVE_DATE
After some debug and testing action we found this issue is happening if we update a component item charge after creating it.
During this update the form screen is not showing the "component currency" as mandatory. Therefore the 'new_comp_currency' is inserted in COST_COMP_UPD_STG table with null value
