Symptoms
Set up the approval unit with one primary hierarchy and only some elements with a secondary one. Start the approval workflow, it is working fine only for elements with just one hierarchy, while it does not allow to change data in forms when it has elements in the subhierarchy.
The security is set up with all write permission.
