Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In OTM, sometimes Administrators have defined proper specific User Access to users but it is not reflecting properly in the user login.

For example,

Example # 1:
For a OTM user ABC.FirstName.LastName in the OTM Domain ABC, User Access Type User Preference has been configured through Manage User Access page.
When the above user logs in in the OTM application, his user preference is not reflecting as per the above configuration.
If, he clicks on the User Preferences hyperlink under the Administration tab, it gives the error An Undefined Error Has Occurred. Please Try Again Later.
Now, if the user, clicks on View User Access hyperlink under the Administration tab, then, the User Preference grid gives no value defined.
Example # 2:
For a OTM user ABC.FirstName.LastName in the OTM Domain ABC, User Access Type User Menu has been configured through Manage User Access page.
When the above user logs in in the OTM application, OTM menu is not reflecting as per the above configuration. Sometimes, the user may gets a blank springboard.
Now, if the user, clicks on View User Access hyperlink under the Administration tab, then, the User Menu ID grid gives no value defined.
