With No Member Tracking Enabled the Reinstatement of Member Asset has Expense (Doc ID 2932020.1)

Symptoms

In Just Group Setup (no member tracking), with Recognize Gain/Loss = Yes, if member asset is reinstated the member is showing reserve balance due to expense on reinstatement.

Just Group setup should have no reserve nor expense at the member level.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Group without Member Tracking
2. Member retired earlier in year
3. Reinstated retirement, finds member has expense booking with the reinstatement
