OCI: VMBM - Cannot Terminate The Database Via OCI Console (Doc ID 2934405.1)

Symptoms

The Database cannot be terminated from OCI Console.

OCI Console may show below message:

 

1.   DeleteDbHome is not allowed for dbSystems with VM shapes at this time.

 

2. The operation cannot be performed because the Db System with ID ocid1.dbsystem.oc1.<region>.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx is in the FAILED state
