Zone Level Price Changes Required from RPCS (Doc ID 2934586.1)

Last updated on MARCH 13, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Pricing Cloud Service - Version 19.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

On: RPCS/RPM 19.3.004.17 version

The users require zone-level Price Changes (PCs) at zone level for integrating downstream systems. Currently, zone-level PCs are being exploded to store level while publishing data through Bulk Data Integration (BDI) downstream. So, a roll-up logic is built into middleware to cater to this requirement. However, the users have encountered 150k price changes created quickly by users, which were not processed successfully. So, the users have optimized the middleware code to its maximum, but these volumes could not be handled. So, the users are looking for alternate ways to get zone-level records pushed downstream from RPCS instead of getting exploded to the store level.
