Messages stuck in the rib-ext hospital

More than one thousand messages are stuck in the queue at the rib-ext hospital, most of the messages have the error message " javax.ejb.EJBException: Error while calling Injector Service.: HTTP transport error: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target.
