Goal

Purpose:

This document outlines several approaches that Oracle considers best practices for preventing payment fraud. These have not been fully tested by Oracle, but are believed to work.

Oracle recommends that the customer work with their development team and partner to do proof of concept and validate that the approaches meet their goals and performance needs.

Ultimately payment providers, payment fraud detection tools, and BOT prevention technologies are best positioned to detect and prevent fraud.

The recommendations presented here are to deploy such technologies and supplement them with additional/custom measures.
