How to Schedule RDF Batch to Run with RPAS_TODAY of System Date + 1 (Doc ID 2937961.1)

Last updated on APRIL 05, 2023

Goal

Consider an implementation with total batch timings taking around ~10 hours to complete. This necessitates scheduling the weekly and daily batch to start around 7pm at night so that it will complete by business hours the following day.

The issue is that the batch picks up the system date as the RPAS_TODAY and this cannot be configured to automatically run with System Date + 1. For RDF, it is desirable to run the batch with an RPAS_TODAY of the next business day; however, we can't schedule the batch to run only after the midnight so that it picks the correct system date as RPAS_TODAY because we won't be able to complete the batch on time within the batch window.

For example:
Batch needs to start running tonight at 7pm (13th Feb) with an RPAS_TODAY of 14th of Feb so that the batch uses 14th Feb as its RPAS_TODAY on all its calculations.

How can this be accomplished?
