How to Make a Field Editable/Non-Editable in OTM Manager Layout Based on a Specific Condition? (Doc ID 2940272.1)

Goal

Sometimes, customer have some requirement where they want to make a field editable/non-editable based on some condition. Like as an example-

There is a field Shipper Name on the Shipment screen/manager layout. Business needs that fields needs to be kept editable till the Shipment Enroute status is ENROUTE NOT STARTED. However, for any other Enroute status value, that same field needs to be displayed as non-editable one. The reason is, business is not willing any change on the Shipper Name when the Shipment has already started.

 

How to achieve such requirements to be developed in OTM?
