Applies to:

Oracle Cloud VMware Solution - Version N/A and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Unable to manage ESXi host either directly by using Secure Socket Shell (SSH) or by using the vCenter Console. The issue might have a data-path impact on workload VM's that are running on these ESXi hosts.

This issue can cause a failure when trying to reach the ESXi host using the SSH mechanism or pinging the ESXi host. In this case, there can be minimal or no impact as workload VMs on the ESXi host are restarted on a Healthy host.

In some cases, there can be a complete outage.
