Last updated on JANUARY 25, 2024

OCI Logging - Version N/A to N/A [Release 1.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Logging offers Search feature where you can use Custom Filters to query data on Audit Logs, Custom Logs or Service Logs. IP, State, Date, Event Type, OCID etc. are some of the custom filters that can be used.

For example:

The following Access Logs shows multiple values that can be used as a query to Custom Filters. The parenthesis separates the values from one another.  For example, the "data" field contains several values "backendAddr", backendConnectTime, backendProcessingTime etc. The open parenthesis indicates start and close parenthesis indicates the end of data within the parenthesis.  You can reference any json document on the web to understand how to read json output.
