'Update Document Meta Data by Document ID' REST API Returns 505 Error Code (Doc ID 2942928.1)

Symptoms

When updating a document's metadata via the 'Update Document Meta Data by Document ID' REST API, the error below is returned in the response, instead of a a successful (200) response.

(When viewing the document metadata in the Unifier UI, the document is updated successfully despite the error being returned in the REST response.)

"Server Error, contact the system administrator referencing this error code: <cloud tenant name>-A91F6A0FBF"

Status code: 505

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Use the 'Update Document Meta Data by Document ID' REST API to modify the metadata for a particular document using the node id.
  2. The response will return the 505 error response.
  3. Check the document metadata in the Unifier UI and observe that the details have been updated successfully.
