Similar SKUs Display As Separate Line Items In The Cart Instead Of One Item With Updated quantity (Doc ID 2944061.1)

When adding SKUs to the cart twice we see the two SKUs display as separate line items in the cart instead of one item with 2 quantity.

Steps to replicate the issue:

1. Go to storefront as a guest user.
2. Add a SKU 'abc' to cart.
3. Login to the site with credentials.
4. After login, add SKU 'abc' again to cart (this item is already added in cart.)
5. Go to the cart page and check the items. We can see two items with SKU 'abc' as separate line item instead of updating the quantity to 2.
