When attempting to create a record with a Data Element (DE) using the 'SYS Auto Sequence' type Data Definition (DD), and the entry has been determined to be unique, the following Alert pops up:

The value for field "Unique DE" must be unique. There is another record containing the same value for this field.

It should be noted that the entry being used was used previously on another record, but was changed on the historic record. Example: Record1 is created with a unique entry of "123ABC", and was later changed to "456DEF". Then trying to use "123ABC" on the new record is popping up the Alert.

  1. Navigate to the affected Business Process
  2. Attempt to create a record
  3. Notice the Alert that pops up

Expect to be able to create a record with a unique DE value.
