How to setup parts catalog and inventory types to be used in debrief plugin (Doc ID 2944629.1)

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Not able to add a part catalog item to a resource and further use it in debrief plugin

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Add a part catalog item to a resource, install it in an activity and use in debrief plugin

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. search for the resource who needs to have the part item added
2. go to resource info screen and click on inventory
3. in the inventory screen, click on the add to resource button
4. search for the catalog item in the search bar and select the part catalog item
5. check if the part catalog item was associated with the inventory type and all required fields automatically populated

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, the part catalog item cannot be associated to a resource and thus it cannot be installed in activities nor used in the debrief plugin
