VBCS IDCS connection to SaaS service throws 400 Out Of Scope Errors (Doc ID 2945582.1)

Symptoms

A VBCS connection via IDCS to Oracle ERP Cloud SaaS creates a service scope error. The IDCS stripe used has an OAuth application to ERP for authentication, which is returning a scope error:


For example when testing a single endpoint connection -
1. Go to VBCS
2. Open one of the VBCS apps that connect to ERP
3. Open the endpoint and click the test button

Is there some sort of scope that needs to be explicit in the OAuth app to allow ERP access?
