Symptoms

When configuring a System configuration model, if updates to the BOM structure cause the model to not be added to a transaction, the values of attributes set by recommendation rules in child models will be rolled back to their previous values.  The expectation would be that when the recommendation rule runs, the values set by recommendation rules would persist to the next time the model is added to the transaction.

This behavior can have different impacts depending on your implementation
