Symptoms
Analytics Publisher Data Model Throws "FAILED TO LOAD SQL" error when trying to create or edit a data set containing a backslash along with another character.
There are 2 use cases here
1) Editing an existing Data Model after receiving 23B update
Steps for Case 1
- Login to BI Catalog
- Edit an existing Data Model
- The error "FAILED TO LOAD SQL" is thrown
2) Creating a new Data Model after receiving the 23B update
Steps for Case 2
- Login to BI Catalog
- Create a Data Model
- Create a Data Set inside the Data Model
- Select "Type of SQL" as "Standard SQL" in the Data Set dialog box
- Write an SQL containing a backslash and another character
- Click OK
- The error "FAILED TO LOAD SQL" is thrown
