Goal

NOTE : As of Sep 2023 Update of OAC, you can create self-service data connection and use this as usage tracking database defined in Semantic Modeler. Please check Specify the Usage Tracking Database Using Semantic Modeler
The steps outlined in this KM Doc are no longer needed but still should work.

This document provide steps to setup Usage Tracking in OAC when using Semantic Modeler (Prior to Sep 2023 release).

Note : Please refer to the following documentation for complete steps on setting up Usage Tracking : Setup Usage Tracking

This document only addresses the extra step needed to setup Connections when using Semantic Modeler. If you are not using Semantic Modeler, please refer only to the official documentation.
