Goal
In order to have a better understanding of the best practises for in-place upgrades of Windows 2012 servers in the OCI platform image.
As you are aware, Windows Server 2012 is coming to an end, and we have multiple servers that need to be upgraded to at least Windows Server 2016. In place of rebuilding these servers because of the time and effort, it can be decided to do an in-place upgrade to alleviate the amount of time it will take to rebuild the servers. By following the procedures highlighted below, you can avoid rebooting issues after an upgrade.
