Error: "Input Required" on a Column That Has Data When Importing a CSV File (Doc ID 2950352.1)

When importing into a Cost Type Business Process (BP),  users receive an import error email with the error below. The Data Element (DE) noted in the error is populated in the CSV file.


[DE NAME]: Input required

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log in to Unifier
  2. Navigate to Shell > Affected BP
  3. Click on Actions, select Import > Data from CSV file
  4. Select the appropriate CSV file to import
  5. Receive email error.
