Cross-reference variable does not show in Terms Template preview.

Expecting the cross-referenced clause to be shown in the preview.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a variable.
2. Add the variable to a clause.
3. Previewed the Terms Template to see the referenced clause in a new clause, but it does not appear.
