Symptoms
Configured the SMTP mail server at Oracle Analytics Home page -> Navigator -> Console using the document below with 'Authenticated' unchecked:

Testing the connection to the server, you are able to successfully connect.
Ports are open between OAC and the SMTP server.
When trying to run scheduled agent, the following error is encountered:
[nQSError: 75005] Failed to send AUTH command. SMTP server does not support any authentication mechanisms. Remove email credentials, or use a server which supports authentication.
