The Option to Delete Resource Assignments Is Not Available in Assignments Pages in P6 Web (Doc ID 2954126.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

In P6 Web, when trying to delete resource and/or role assignments from the Projects > Assignments or Resources > Assignments page, the "Delete" option is not available when clicking the gear icon next to the assignment.

 

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

It should be possible to delete resource and role assignments from the Assignments page for both Projects and Resources.

 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. Log into P6 Web.
  2. Go to Projects > EPS page.
  3. Open a project with resources assigned to activities.
  4. Go to Projects > Assignments page.
  5. Click the gear icon on the assignment
  6. Notice the "Delete" option is not available.
  7. Go to Resources > Assignments page.
  8. Click the gear icon on the assignment
  9. Notice the "Delete" option is not available.
