XML Import Failure With Empty Log When Creating New Project Level Activity Code Type Which Contains Apostrophe (Doc ID 2954218.1)

Symptoms

When trying to upload an XML file that was created in a previous release, several errors are generated:

SEVERE: com.primavera.integration.client.xml.xmlimporter.XMLImporterException: Unable to invoke setPhysicalPercentComplete on business object Activity. Percent value 7.0 is out of range. The maximum allowed value is 1.0, which represents 100%. For XML Element ID/UID : 50610


SEVERE: com.primavera.integration.client.xml.xmlimporter.XMLImporterException: Errors located:SuspendDate: Suspend date must be later than Actual Start date.


SEVERE: com.primavera.integration.client.xml.xmlimporter.XMLImporterException: Errors located: ResumeDate: Actual Finish date must have a Resume dat

  1. Log into Primavera P6
  2. Attempt to import an XML file
  3. Notice different errors
