AIF/RDE Not Handling Item Deletes Correctly (Doc ID 2954404.1)

Goal

AIF/RDE are not handling item deletes correctly.

This issue can happen under the following scenario..

1. RMS has a bug which allows an item to be duplicated when it is created as MANL item_number_type with spaces at the end of the item number.
2. When these items are purged in RMS and RDE extracts full foundation data, the correct item comes in the PRODUCT file and Delete comes as part of W_RTL_ITEM_DEL_TMP.dat. RA does not distinguish between both items as W_RTL_ITEM_DEL_TMP does not contain item_type.
3. This causing DIM_PROD_VALIDATOR_JOB to abort with PROD_R5 error.
