Goal
Currently, EICS lacks the capability to determine the order in which tickets are printed based on planogram or scan information and the customer has requested the ability to print tickets in a specific sequence.
A group of tickets were selected for each item configured in a store sequence and requested to print them in bulk and the MPS output to the TPS was validated. However, no sequence definition was used by TicketPrint from the XML nodes sequence or fields like Ticket.sequence_number.
Question: Describe how the current product functionality is insufficient.
Answer: Currently, EICS lacks the capability to determine the order in which tickets are printed based on planogram or scan information and the customer has requested the ability to print tickets in a specific sequence.
Question: Provide a detailed description of the Enhancement Request.
Answer: EICS to be able to print tickets in a predetermined sequence from a pre-configuration when is selected a bulk of tickets to be printed.
Question: Describe how this Enhancement will benefit your business.
Answer: Currently, the customer has this capability that allows the store operators to print bulk of tickets in sequence. It will benefit the business and EICS this functionality to print the tickets from the shelf and store sequence configurations.
