Error Received When Creating New Project Shells: Could not invoke method cloneProjectBP (Doc ID 2956436.1)

When creating a new Project Shell, the following error is generated:

file:///shell/action.xml:2408: Could not invoke method cloneProjectBP

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigate to Company Workspace Company Logs Project Shell Creation Requests
2. Click the Create button to create a new record.
3. Fill out required fields on the form. Submit. Open the same record just created from the log and accept the task.
4. Fill out required fields, submit Record, select Create Project workflow action, then encounter the exception above and shell will not be created.
