Symptoms

When using Published scheduled to assign shifts to employees and  encounter the following:

1) Incorrect start and end date-time values populated for an absence when an employee with a published schedule and a midnight shift setup selects a start date.

or

2) Deduction of an incorrect duration (0.5 day instead of 1 day) from the plan balance for a specific absence duration.

or

3) Incorrect duration calculation for partial day absences when a published schedule is assigned,

leading to the display of an equivalent full shift duration instead of the actual selected start and end times.

Changes

The issue may have occurred due to recent system changes in the configuration or code related to handling start times for employees with different schedule setups.
