Custom Print Output in .XLS Output Does Not Display Images from the Business Process Record When Using RTF Template (Doc ID 2958304.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

When running a Custom Print of a Business Process (BP) Record, the PDF format will display all of the images as expected.  However, an Excel (.XLS) format output only displays the images as a box with a red 'x' in it. The Custom Print is an RTF type Template.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The Excel (.XLS) custom print output format was expected to display the images the same as the PDF output format does.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into the Unifier environment.
  2. Navigate to Project/Shell > User Mode > Upper BP Node > BP1 > Find and Open a BP record 
  3. Select More Actions > Print > Custom... > Custom Print Template = "TEM1" > Template = "T1" > Format = "PDF".
  4. The PDF output displays all of the BP record images.
  5. Repeat step 2 above, but select Format = Excel (.XLS).
  6. The .XLS output does not display the images, it just displays boxes with red 'x' inside.
