Last updated on AUGUST 15, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Assets Cloud Service - Version 11.13.23.04.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Post Mass addition creates assets using category book default values instead of user provided values for few attributes like method, convention, add to asset number.

When user prepares asset addition using FBDI/ADFDI, program "Prepare Mass Additions" is run. This program populates key values like method_id, convention_id based on user provided name(s). However, "Prepare Mass Additions" does not populates id columns due to recent performance improvement code changes. Though program completes in success status, but log shows "ORA-01001: Invalid Cursor" error. When user runs Post Mass Addition program, assets are created with values from category book defaults instead of user provided values in FBDI/ADFDI sheet. This issue is observed when number of total records in FA_MASS_ADDITIONS table is more than number used for profile value "FA_BATCH_SIZE" (or 10000 when profile value is not set).
