OTM Planners are adding Tracking Events on OTM Shipments to track the Shipment as part of Shipment Execution. They are navigating to the needed action/screen and selecting/filling some basic and important information like Responsible Party, Status, Reason, Stop, Date & Time etc. for saving the Tracking Event.

Many a time, Tracking Events are added to Shipment through Quick Codes- that saves user's time and effort. Quick codes can be seeded as well as custom based on business need.

Once they are adding some events like Gate Out or Loaded - the expectation is to update the corresponding shipment's Enroute status to ENROUTE_ENROUTE from ENROUTE_NOT STARTED.
